A package download can take some time. The length of the process depends on the speed of your Internet connection.
Make sure you select correct Series ID when you search for updates. To check Series ID:
On the device launch the TomTom Navigation App.
Tap the screen to show the Main menu, then tap Help > About. The Series ID is shown in the title, such as X100, C220, X103, Y400 , X115, Q200, Y450, Q250 or E100.
Check the version of the package on the device to see if you need a map/software update.
How to check map version:
On the device launch the TomTom Navigation App.
Tap the screen to show the Main menu, then tap Help > About. The map version is listed below to "Installed maps". For example, 'Europe' v945.6172 stands for Europe map version 945.6172.
How to check software version:
Boot up your Tivoli, Korando, REXTON or ALTURAS G4 Navigation system
Press and hold (over 2 seconds) the SETUP button to convert to AVN Settings screen.

Press Version button and Check Application version in Model name. Please update your software if your installed version is older than the latest version.
Press "SSANGYONG AVN" or "MAHINDRA AVN" letters five times. Version is indicated in the first field - SSANGYONG AVN or MAHINDRA AVN XXX

Check if there is sufficient free space on your computer. You need a minimum of 8 GB.
Check that your internet connection is stable for the download.
All update packages for the selected car will be listed on the screen.
A click on the Download button will open a pop-up with a download agent which will ask to select the location for download on the user's computer and download the package.
In case the browser doesn't support the download agent, the popup will show direct link(s) of the package to be downloaded on user's computer.
Save the package contents onto the computer.
Transfer Map Package
Extract the map from the downloaded zip file.
The computer may need a 3rd Party software to extract the contents of zip.
Windows Vista / Windows 7 / Windows 8 / Windows 10:
Right-click the zip file, and then click Extract All.
In the Extract Compressed (Zipped) Folders window, click Extract for all files.
Mac OS X operating system:
Double-click the zip file to extract the contents to the computer.
Install your map
Remove the map SD card from your Navigation System after car ignition position is off.
Insert the map SD card into an SD card reader connected to your computer.
Delete all contents from the SD card.
Important: Do not replace the map content on the SD card. You must first delete the old map from the SD card.
Copy the map files from the unzipped folder to the SD card.
Important: For Y450/Q250/E100 copy map files from unzipped folder to the SD card/maps.
Windows:
Right-click the Content folder and from the menu, click Send To..., and then click the drive (for example: SD Disk E:) that represents your SD card. The folder is copied to your SD card.
Mac OS X:
Drag and drop the Content folder to the root folder of the SD card.
Note: Do NOT change the name or structure of the folder or the files in the sub-folder.
When the transfer is complete, safely eject the SD card from your computer.
Windows: Click the Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media icon in the notification area and select the SD card.
Mac: Click the eject button next to the SD card in the side bar of a Finder window.
Transfer Software Package
Extract the package from the downloaded zip file.
The computer may need a 3rd Party software to extract the contents of zip.
Windows Vista / Windows 7 / Windows 8 / Windows 10:
Right-click the zip file, and then click Extract All.

Transfer Software package to device
Insert USB/SD card into USB/SD card reader connected to your computer.
For Tivoli (X100/X103)/Korando:
Copy EUAVNUpdate.UPD and EUAVNUpdate.exe to the root folder of the USB/SD card.
For Tivoli (X115):
Copy "X115EUAVNUpdate.UPA" to the root folder of the USB.
For REXTON:
Copy "Y400EUAVNUpdate.UPA" to the root folder of the USB.
For MUSSO/REXTON SPORTS:
Copy "Q200EUAVNUpdate.UPA" the root folder of the USB.
For ALTURAS G4:
Copy "Y400INAVNUpdate.UPA" to the root folder of the USB.
- Do not change the name or structure of the folder or the files in the sub-folder.
Windows:
Right-click the Files and, from the menu, click Send To..., and then click the drive(for example: SD Disk E:) that represents your USB/SD card. The files are copied to your USB/SD card.
Mac OS X:
Drag and drop the Files to the root folder of the USB/SD card.
Remove USB and Remove the SD card from SD card reader
Windows: Click the Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media icon in the notification area and select the USB/SD card.
Mac: Click the eject button next to the USB/SD card in the side bar of a Finder window.
Install Map Package
Insert your SD card back into your device before car ignition position is on
Launch the TomTom Navigation App. The new map is ready for use.
Tap the screen to show the Main menu, then tap Help > About to see the map loaded is identical to the version you downloaded.
Install Software Package
Insert the USB/SD card into your device
Boot up your Navigation System
Press and hold (over 2 seconds) the SETUP button to convert to Settings screen.

Press Update button and press OK button

Device will reboot after the update completes. The update process takes about 15 minutes.
Check Application version to see the installed version is identical to the version you downloaded.
